The east end of Yangpu Riverfront has two prominent ecological nodes, the Fuxing Island and the Forest Park, as well as numerous amounts of industrial heritages. Such unique resources together define unique characteristics very different from any other riverfront zones of Shanghai. We define the key strategies of this project as re-greening the industrial zone, connecting a forest waterfront, and accommodating outdoor performance activities favored by young audience.
