Yongjiang Lab

The design begins with a taxonomical study of two sets of objects: those associated with manufacturing processes, including tools and products; and those embedded in the local ecological and social context. Emerging from this study, Yongjiang Lab is envisioned as a porous, vertically layered campus that supports technological research and intelligent manufacturing, while offering a permeable green environment for its workforce.
